LONDON - AMERICAN singer Lady GaGa has spent a second week at the top of the British pop singles charts with 'Just Dance", the Official Charts Company said on Sunday.
The 22-year-old New Yorker's dance track has already been a number one hit in the United States, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
She saw off a challenge from 'Day 'n' Nite", a collaboration between Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi's and Italian dance act Crookers, which entered the charts at number two.
Falling one place to third was 'Broken Strings", a duet by English singer James Morrison and Canada's Nelly Furtado.
The Saturdays, a British and Irish pop group, climbed two places to fourth with 'Issues'.
American singer-songwriter Kevin Rudolf's 'Let It Rock", featuring U.S. rapper Lil Wayne, rose to number five, while 'X-Factor' winner Alexandra Burke's debut single 'Hallelujah' was down three at number six.
US singer Beyonce, who is due to perform at Barack Obama's presidential inaugural festivities in Washington on Sunday, climbed one place to number seven with 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'.
American rock group Kings of Leon fell to number eight with 'Use Somebody", while another 'X-Factor' winner, Leona Lewis, was in ninth place with 'Run'.
British pop group Girls Aloud completed the top 10 with 'The Loving Kind'. -- REUTERS
